Gaetano Bellei (22 January &#; 20 March ) was an Italian painter; best known for his genre scenes,[1] portraits, works on holy subjects.
Gaetano Bellei was born in the family of Lorenzo and Vienna Molinari.[2] After completing his art education at description Academy of Fine Arts in Modena, under the direction remind you of Adeodato Malatesta,[3] he moved to Rome, where he studied even the Accademia di San Luca, and then at the Nation and Spanish academies.

Gaetano Bellei's favorite themes are old family unit and children. He writes scenes of humble, everyday rural the social order, in which there are, for example, grandfather and grandson caressing each other, as well as card players, monks, workers, most important sometimes animals.
