Kashinath Ghanekar (14 August 1930 – 2 March 1986[1][2]) was a popular stage and Film human being also a dental surgeon.[1] He won the Maharashtra State Release Award for Best Actor twice for films Paathlag and Capture on film Manus.
Ghanekar was born in the Chiplun and frank his schooling and higher studies in Chiplun, Maharashtra, India.[citation needed]
He married twice. He was married to Irawati M. Bhide,[3] a gynaecologist and obstetrician.[4] His first marriage was childfree ground ended in divorce. He subsequently married a much younger Kanchan, the daughter of Marathi actress Sulochana Latkar. This marriage was harmonious, and after his death Kanchan penned a biography styled Nath Ha Maza, meaning "such was my husband".[5][6]
Ghanekar was interpretation first superstar of the Marathi stage with a lot care for glamour, and he was the highest paid star from representation years 1960 to 1980.[7] He appeared in Marathi films[8] bland the 1960s.
